Bank of Queensland appoints Bwm
The Bank of Queensland has appointed Bwm to lead a new direction for its brand and marketing.
The creative agency was appointed following a competitive pitch and a shortlisting of three agencies.
Boq’s managing director Stuart Grimshaw said: “The Bwm team understood that we’re not after an advertising campaign or a tagline, but a way to demonstrate that we’re different – not only in the way we deal with our customers, but also in the way we do things internally.”

Australian marketing and advertising association Adma has appointed a new board, with six new members taking on state representative and board responsibilities.
The announcement:
The newly appointed board members are:
· David Bowie, Managing Director, Sas Australia and New Zealand · Chantal Walker, Marketing Director, Foxtel · Emily Amos, General Manager-Customer Engagement, Woolworths.

CommBank has released an online video to promote its high-tech concept store dubbed “the future of banking”.
The video, which was made by digital shop The White Agency, will run on CommBank’s YouTube channel as well as a CommBank microsite.
Andrew Murrell, CommBank’s general manager, digital and social marketing, told Mumbrella: “Our large network of branches is, of course, important. But so is technology in how customers bank with us. Our flagship brand is a look toward the future of banking.”
He added: “Online videos like this have a big future in engaging with our customers.”...
