Ramsey Nasr(I)

Ramsey Nasr (Rotterdam, Netherlands 1974) is a well known Dutch poet, writer, essayist, actor, director, librettist and translator with Palestinian roots. He is known for his books such as 'The Fundamenten', 'Nasr compacter' and 'De andere stem'. Ramsey works in the Netherlands with the International Theater of Amsterdam where he is known for his starring role in the theater production 'Een Klein Leven' (A Little Life) directed by Ivo van Hove. For his lead role he won a Louis D'Or twice, which is the most prestigious theater award in The Netherlands. Ramsey is also known for his lead roles in different Dutch films en Tv-series such as the famous Dutch Tv-series 'Oogappels' (2019-2023), for his role in the Dutch remake of the Italian film 'Perfetti Sconosciuti' 'Alles Op Tafel' (2021), for his brilliant lead role in the Dutch drama TV-series 'Het Jaar van Fortuyn '(2022) and for his starring role in Dutch film 'I.M' (2020), for who he won a Gouden Kalf for Best Actor.
