Originally published 58 years ago, Ray Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit 451” continues to top middle school reading lists and inspire actors and directors such as Rick Orlow and Wynn Handman. The pair acted and directed, respectively, the American Place Theatre’s Signature Literature to Life adaptation of Bradbury’s science fiction novel Wednesday night at Joe’s Pub in the East Village.
“It’s still such a powerful book,” 88-year-old Handman said. “To me it’s very current.
