Production company Granada Media Australia has appointed a head of factual entertainment in David Galloway.
Galloway comes from Cornerbox Productions as a creator and executive producer with Random Acts of Kindness and Ten Years Younger in Ten Days on his resume.
Prior to Cornerbox Galloway worked for over ten years at the Seven Network with Ep credits on documentary series True Stories and Olympic Sunrise.
Leonie Lowe, MD of Granada Media Australia said: “I’m delighted to announce that Granada Media Australia strengthens its senior management team consolidating the business for its non-scripted programming for local and global markets.”
“The addition of David and most recently Rod Parker as head of factual – creates a new, dynamic team with depth and diversity; enabling Granada to further its successes,” she said.
Granada currently produces Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell for ABC1, Foxtel’s Come Dine With Me Australia and Ten’s Talkin’ ’bout My Generation.

Network Ten has commissioned a new factual TV series to be produced by Granada Media Australia.
The new format The Audience, comes from UK production company The Garden Productions, and crowd sources decision-making for a person stuck at a cross roads in life.
Commissioned already for UK’s Channel 4, The Audience takes a person who is facing a life-changing decision and opens their dilemma up to 50 members of the public from different walks of life who will follow the person and draw on their collective life experiences to find resolution by meeting the protagonist’s friends, family and colleagues.
