At Wrestlemania XI in 1995, Shawn Michaels and Diesel entered the ring for a WWE Championship match. This was a surprising turn of events- a classic pro-wrestling swerve- as all Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler had spoke about on commentary all night was the fact Todd Pettengill had lost Pamela Anderson. As it was, things turned out fine because Diesel found her and she came to the ring attached to his arm, which meant nobody really noticed Diesel was there. All eyes were on Pamela… or at least, on a part of Pamela. The next year, Sable debuted along with Marlena and a trend had begun. A new era in WWE was upon us! This was the Implant Era and it went hand-on-breast with the boom of Steve Austin and The Rock over on the men’s side of things.
As it turned out, this ‘trend’ in professional wrestling...

Syndicated TV series Dish Nation has been renewed for a second season. The show will continue to air on Fox television stations as well as on Sinclair, Tribune, Cox, Meredith, Local TV and Lin stations.
The half-hour entertainment news program features drive-time radio personalities from various markets as they discuss current topics in pop culture. They include New York’s Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill; Atlanta's Rickey Smiley; and Dallas' Kidd Kraddick.
According to Twentieth TV, Dish Nation tops all new first-run programs among adults 18-34 and is tied for Number one among adults 18-49.

Twentieth Television will be testing another potential first-run syndication program on the Fox Television Stations. Dish Nation, a half-hour pop culture/celebrity news program in the vein of TMZ, will debut July 25 for a six-week trial run on Fox stations in several markets including New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Atlanta, Phoenix, Detroit and Baltimore. It will feature four drive-time radio teams: Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill (The Big Show with Scott & Todd on New York's Wplj), Rick Smiley (Rick Smiley Morning Show on Atlanta's Whta), Blaine Fowler and Allyson Martinek (Blaine & Allyson on Detroit's Wdvd and DJ Felli Fel (Los Angeles’ Power 106).
