- Animator, comic strip illustrator, storyboard writer and producer Post was trained at the Hastings School of Animation in New York City and began as an in-betweener at Famous Studios, earning $24 a week. He succeeded Seymour Kneitel as president of the Paramount Animation Studio between 1964 and 1966. He was then replaced by Shamus Culhane.
