- Paul Pranger was born on January 23, 1888 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. He was an actor, known for Der Prinz von Arkadien (1932), Herren der Meere (1922) and Bel-Ami Der Frauenheld von Paris (1955). He died on June 29, 1961 in Vienna, Austria.
- To his first cinematical works belong the silent movie "Herren der Meere" (1922). Only after World War II his engagements in front of the camera increased in the 50s and he impersonated roles in "Maria Theresia" (1951), "Götz von Berlichingen" (1955) and "Der Fall Pinedus" (1959).
- The actor Paul Pranger was active as a stage actor in the first place and he only took part in few movies at the beginning of his career.
