Narendra Prasad was born in 1945 in Alappuzha, Kerala, India. He was an actor and writer, known for Galileo (1994), Njan Gandharvan (1991) and Bhoopathi (1997). He died on November 3, 2003 in Kozhikode, Kerala, India.
Beginning his career as a stage actor at a young age, Prasad soon
entered the film world and acted in over 150 films.
He worked as an English professor in Pandalam NSS College and
University College, Thiruvananthapuram. In 1989, he was appointed
Director of the MG University School of Letters.
Asthikal Pookunnu (1989), a film for which he wrote the script, was his debut on the
silver screen after which he turned in to popular actor appearing in
nearly 150 films.
Formed the 'Natyagraham', a drama troupe which organized several
dramas, including Bhavu Thugam Marunnu, Nishedikalae Manisilakku,
Adunikathintae Madyanu, Ente Sahitya Nirupanagal, and Jadi Paranjal
