Jeffrey Franken is a science whizz and a med school droput. He’s also a man in love. But when Elizabeth Shelley, the love of his life, is killed by a runaway remote-control lawnmower – which just happens to be one of Jeffrey’s inventions – he suffers a mental breakdown and decides there’s only one way to find love again, and that’s to piece Elizabeth back together with a little help from some explosive Supercrack and a gaggle of street walkers. However there’s a problem with Jeffrey’s plans – a pimp called Zorro and the fact that he doesnt just put the love of his life back together, he creates a Frankenhooker!
Frank Henenlotter is one of those directors whose work it seems you either love or hate.
