Hose Sancha (Jose Maria Sancha Padros) (1908-1994) is a Spanish artist. Sancha family is unique in Spain - wear it a single family in the Mediterranean city of Malaga. Jose Maria de Sancha - Uncle Jose Sancha, is one of the architects of its port. His uncle Carlos did Padros is a founding member of the legendary football team "Real" (Madrid). Jose Sancha was born in 1908 in Escorial, Spain. He moved quite young in London with his parents. Each year, the family visited their homeland. This happened and in 1936. Jose had just returned to Spain at the outbreak of the Civil War and he was unable to leave the country. As an inveterate democrat young artist took the weapon and fight on the side of the Republicans against Franco's Falangists. After Franco's victory in 1939 Sancha has immigrated to the Soviet Union. He selected this country because the soviet emissaries succeeded to free him out of the camp for Republicans in France. In the Soviet Union he has met his great love - Bulgarian women Anelya Stoyanova, who teaches literature there. She is the daughter of the philologist and literary critic Academic Lyudmil Stoyanov. In 1940 they had a son whom he named with the English name Allen. After the end of World War II Jose Sancha was sent by the Soviet government as a "sleeper agent" in Mexico. His task was to help Mexican fighters for a possible socialist revolution. A Soviet scenario did not develops in the country of the Aztecs and Sancha came to Bulgaria, where meanwhile moved his wife and his son. Jose Sancha has worked as an illustrator, production designer and stage designer. He is the author of the emblem of the Satire Theater. In 1950, in Sofia was born their daughter Alicia. Although Jose Sancha, his wife and his children are pretty comfortable in Bulgaria, he dreamed of returning to his homeland. In 1958 the family moved to East Berlin. There, the artist has worked as a production designer for various movies. Among them is "Stars", written by Angel Vagenstein, and directed by Konrad Wolf, a co-production between Bulgaria and East Germany. A few years later the all family has moved to London. There, the artist managed to get a passport at the Spanish consulate. But to return to his homeland with Anelya Stoyanova he was forced to conclude religious marriage with her. In the late 60th , the spouses moved to Spain. He died in Spain in 1994.
