Genre icon Barbara Crampton makes sure to keep busy in the horror world. As we covered earlier today, a character with her voice and likeness will soon be added to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre video game, and now a trailer for another Crampton project – the horror film Snow Valley – has arrived online. You can check it out in the embed above. Gravitas Ventures holds the worldwide rights to Snow Valley and are planning to give the film a March 26th release.
The feature directorial debut of writer Brandon Murphy, who sadly passed away while the movie was in post-production, Snow Valley tells the following story: A newly engaged couple’s swank ski weekend goes horribly awry, when an unexpected guest arrives and the house’s dark supernatural forces begin to rise on the anniversary of a tragic event.

The best way to watch “Chronically Metropolitan” is to think of it as a parody of a particularly pretentious brand of indie romance. Unfortunately, though, director Xavier Manrique and writer Nicholas Schutt (“Blood & Oil”) play it so solemnly straight for their feature debut that it seems unlikely they’re aiming for satire. Shiloh Fernandez (“Evil Dead”) is Fenton Dillane, a twentysomething author whose single short story in The New Yorker made such a massive impact on the world that, as he complains, he was “forced into exile.” Um. Ok. Also Read: Mary-Louise Parker's Nanny Arrested, Accused of Stealing Thousands...

Me And Earl And The Dying Girl director Alfonso Gomez-Rejon is developing his own superhero show, Citizen, for Hulu…
American streaming service Hulu is looking to get in on the superhero game. They’ve ordered a pilot episode from Alfonso Gomez-Rejon – the director of Me And Earl And The Dying Girl – for new ‘supernatural hero’ series called Citizen.
Gomez-Rejon, who has also directed episodes of Glee and American Horror Story, has co-created Citizen alongside Josh Pate and Nicholas Schutt (who most recently worked on the TV series Blood And Oil).
Citizen has been described as “a fresh take” on the superhero origin story that will “blend elements of magical realism and gritty vigilantism” within the confines of a supernaturally-stuffed reimagining of Los Angeles.
We don’t know much more at this stage, but there’s certainly enough there to pique our interest. Me And Earl And The Dying Girl was brilliant,...
