- Shraddha Sinha was born on October 25, 1937 in Tamil Nadu, India. She was an actress, known for Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), Jahan Pyar Miley (1969) and Maine Pyar Kiya (1989). She died on June 14, 2023 in Mumbai, India.
- She also composed music in films like Kshitij,Mandir Masjid,Hazaar Haath,Tu Meri Main Tera & Maa Behen Aur Biwi.
- She sang duets with prominent singers like Mukesh,Mohd Rafi,Kishore Kumar & Mahendra Kapoor.
- She was also the first non Mangeshkar singer to win the Filmfare Award in 1966.Only Lata Mangeshkar & Asha Bhosle had won the award before her.
- Sharda was the first female singer in India to introduce a pop song album titled Sizzlers in 1971.
- She currently lives with her son Shammi Rajan & family in Mumbai.
