The future is not looking bright for Raven’s Home, which has officially been cancelled by Disney Channel after six seasons, TVLine has confirmed.
A continuation of That’s So Raven, which aired on Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007, Raven’s Home reunited viewers with the sitcom’s titular psychic (played by Raven-Symoné), who was now the mother of twins — including a son Booker (Issac Ryan Brown), who has clairvoyant powers of his own. Set in Chicago for its first four seasons, Raven’s Home ultimately relocated back to San Francisco (aka the original setting of That’s So Raven) for the remainder of its run.

Pittsburgh — Dr. Ravi Godse is on call nearly 24/7 as a top internal medicine specialist in Pittsburgh, but he so loves writing, directing and starring in movies that he wants other people to love them, too.

October Moon Television said Monday that its syndicated comedy-reality strip That's Funny is expanding to 143 markets for its second season starting in September. The half-hour show, which is airing in early- and late-fringe time periods in more than 100 markets nationwide, features video clips and taped pranks, among other segments. Funny is produced by Vin Di Bona (America's Funniest Home Videos) and hosted by Rondell Sheridan (That's So Raven). The strip is being offered on a cash basis.
Disney Channel has picked up the freshman comedy That's So Raven for a second season. The show, which stars Raven (NBC's The Cosby Show) as a psychic teen who can see glimpses of the future and change the course of events, is set to begin production today on the new season. "Even before we launched this sitcom, we knew Raven and her fellow cast members were gems," said Gary Marsh, executive vp original programming and production at Disney Channel. "Each has their own brand of physical comedy, and together they are like The Carol Burnett Show meets In Living Color for kids and families." After a big launch in January, which posted records for a Disney Channel original series premiere in households (3.0 rating) and key demos including kids 6-11 (8.4) and tweens 9-14 (8.1), Raven has established itself as a hit for the channel, running neck and neck in the ratings with the juggernaut Lizzie McGuire. Co-starring on Raven, from Brookwell McNamara Entertainment and Disney Channel, are Orlando Brown, Anneliese van der Pol, Kyle Orlando Massey, T'Keyah Crystal Keymah and Rondell Sheridan. David Brookwell, Sean McNamara, Marc Warren and Dennis Rinsler are executive producing.
