In addition to the previously announced 18 candidates, WGA West's fall election will include one person who qualified via petition, the guild announced Wednesday as it released the official candidates list. Robert Stitzel qualified to run in the Sept. 20 election for one of the eight open seats on the board of directors. The offices of president and vp are also up for grabs in the election, which will include a meet-the-candidates night on Sept. 1 at WGA West's headquarters in Los Angeles.
