Lil Wayne may be singing about money troubles soon because he's being sued for $1.3 million by a New York concert promoter after he failed to appear at a concert for a third consecutive time. Naughty boy! The promoter claims that Lil Wayne has canceled three times in the last four months. He was given a $100,000 advance when he first agreed to the show. That's a lot of bling. Edward Strickland, General Manager of Rmf Productions - the promoter of the shows, has filed papers and is suing Lil' Wayne and his team for damages.

Rmf Productions, the concert promoter who signed Lil Wayne for Rochester concert, has filed a legal document against the rapper for scrapping the show at the venue for the third time. Beside listing Wayne, Edward Strickland, Gm of the company, also names the rapper's manager Cortez Bryant in the lawsuit.
Strickland says that he has advanced Wayne 100,000 dollars but in return, got nothing from the rapper, who won Best Rap Album for his studio album "Tha Carter III" at 2009 Grammy Awards. In the legal document, the concert promoter is mentioned to seek 1.3 million dollars in compensation over the cancellation.
