- Appeared in a television commercial on top of Saint Paul's Cathederal in 1973 with Fred Griffiths.
- Worked on a motor bike as a telegram boy for the post office from the age of 16 to 18.
- With his brother, Pat, he worked for a short time on the Dodgem Cars at a fairground in Gullane, Scotland.
- His first public appearance was at The Town Hall Birmingham where he sang in the Schools' Choir and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
- In the 1960s, he passed the selection course for 23 SAS, one of the two SAS Territorial Army battalions.

- April 2016: is in preproduction for the opening of his full length play, The 2 Sides of Eddie Ramone, which opens at the Jermyn Street Theatre, London, on July 25th. This was adapted from the one person play he wrote in 2011.
- He has played a character called Judd five times in five different TV productions.
- Living in Los Angeles where he works in movies - both in front of the camera and dubbing voices for other actors. He also performs in a one man Irish show, which he hopes to take to London next year, and writes the odd article for magazines. (May 2006)
