- Senkichi Taniguchi was born on February 19, 1912 in Tokyo, Japan. He was a director and writer, known for Swift Current (1952), Shiosai (1954) and A Man in the Storm (1957). He was married to Kaoru Yachigusa, Setsuko Wakayama and Yôko Mizuki. He died on October 29, 2007 in Tokyo, Japan.
