Paul McCartney has come under attack, not over his music, but his hair, with Guy Thomas of Guy Thomas’s salon publicly swearing he is no longer the superstar’s hairstylist.
Former McCartney Hairstylists Distance Themselves From Pop Star
In a story reported by the New York Daily News, Thomas and his daughter, Janelle Mercadante, claim that they worked for McCartney beginning in 2004, when McCartney’s then-wife Heather Mills contacted them after McCartney attempted to dye his hair with color from a drug store.
“She called the salon in a very agitated way,” Thomas alleged in an interview with Confidenti@al.
According to Thomas and Mercadante, the duo would regularly travel to the Hamptons to do McCartney’s hair over the years, even after McCartney divorced Mills. It wasn’t until 2012 that the partnership fell apart. Thomas claims McCartney was simply too cheap to continue paying their fees.
“He [McCartney] never wanted to pay the money.

As the years progress and his workload diminishes, director Rob Reiner has chosen to spend his time bringing what he calls “life-affirming material” to the big screen. Despite the surprising success of The Bucket List in 2007, however, such a decision carries smaller budgets, fewer screens, and less exposure while allowing more creative control on work appearing to possess a very personal hold. After the underrated coming-of-age story Flipped proved he had a bit of Princess Bride era storytelling prowess left, The Magic of Belle Isle shows message can trump lackluster material better-suited to made-for-tv territory if enough heart shines through. Reiner is fulfilling a newfound desire to expose how life doesn’t truly end until your last breath is taken and he’s unafraid to forgo wide releases and mass appeal to achieve it.

Though Rob Reiner's directorial career started with a bang, over the last decade, he's struggled to enjoy the kind of success he had in the Eighties and early Nineties. His most recent film, Flipped, was a true, underrated return to form though and even though it bombed due to awkward marketing, lack of stars [1] and an almost too cheery-for-words tone, the film made my top ten of 2010 [2]. Reiner has now announced his follow up and it seems he's slipping back into his old habits. His next film is called The Third Act and will most likely star Annette Bening and Morgan Freeman. Read what little we know about it after the jump. Reiner broke the news to Showbiz 411 [3] (with a nod to The Film Stage [4]) at a recent meeting of the Aarp. That seems appropriate, too, because from the title of the film and stars, it sounds like an Aarp movie.

Why is Doctor Who always a Time Lord and not a Lady? Journeys to the centre of the Earth; The meaning of a hiding to nothing
Why is Doctor Who always regenerated as a Time Lord, not a Time Lady?
In Doctor Who the process of regeneration is the renewing of every cell in a Time Lord's dying, damaged or unwanted body. Since Time Lords (and Time Ladies, and perhaps even Time Tots, as the children of Gallifrey are known) can change species when they regenerate, there is presumably no reason why they can't also swap sex. There's certainly nothing in the TV series' history to contradict this theory and indeed no way of telling whether the Master, the Doctor's sworn enemy, spent one or more of his 13 wasted lives as a femme fatale called the Mistress.
