Started working for Michael Landon Productions in 1985, and continued working for Landon until 1990.
Won the First Lady's Excellence in Television Award for his "Highway to Heaven" script "Parent's Day" in 1986.
Was the west coast editor of "The Yacht" magazine; wrote both feature and reportorial stories.
In 1984, helped launch the Los Angeles Olympic Games in-house video operation.
