- Was criticized upon first arriving in the WWF that his style was too extreme and his moves were stiff. Many wresters suffered concussions from his Van Daminator move. RVD has since cleaned up his offensive moves and isn't as stiff as he was in ECW.

He went on to lose the ECW title the very next night to the Big Show.
