Pert, brunette singer and dancer who graced several 1930's British comedies. She was the daughter of Winnifred Ward, a noted music hall artist and male impersonator. She was trained at the Italia Conti School and made her theatrical debut in 1924.
Niece of Gus McNaughton - he was married to her mother Winnifred Ward's sister Charlotte Poluski.
