- He's one of Norways most famous and respected actors/entertainers. He's well known both from the stage, movies, and TV. He had his debut on stage in 1964. His movie debut was with "Hurra for Andersen" from 1966. His debut on TV was in 1968 with the series "Og takk for det", -a series which, together "Harald Heide Steen Jr." became a big success on Norwegian TV. The TV-series which gave him most success and fame was the series about "Fleksnes". This series was introduced in 1972 and it came a movie two years later about the same character. The series didn't end until 1988. The movies that he's best known for are the musical "Bør Børson Jr." from 1974 and "Den siste Fleksnes" from the same year.

- On November 4th 2004 he accidentally hit a pedestrian with his car in Oslo. The victim, a 86 year old woman, suffered severe injuries and Wesenlund was totally devastated and worried sick about the woman. "It's been an absolutely terrible day," he told a newspaper. "I just couldn't see her before it was too late." There was no suspicion of drunk-driving, but the police confiscated his drivers license, as is routine in all such cases involving injuries.
