- (March 3-10, 1952) He produced Carson McCullers' play, "Member of the Wedding," at the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio with Ethel Waters, Betty Lou Holland, James Holden, Robert Mariotti, Patricia Fay, Phyllis Walker, Augustus Smith, Louis Peterson, Virginia McMahon, Frances Ingalls, James Maloney, Mary Cotterman, and Barrry Truex in the cast. Oliver Rea and Stanley Martineau were also producers. Lester Polakov was set and costume designer. Harold Clurman was director.
- (May 27, 1965) William Ball, Jules Fisher, Edward Hastings Jr., Kristen Linkletter and he were the charter members to form The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, California.
