they won a coin flip.
Played basketball at the University of North Carolina from 1979-1980 to
1981-1982. Led the Tar Heels to the NCAA championship (Coach Dean Smith's
first) in 1982. Left after his junior season for the NBA. Teammate on
that national championship team was a freshman named Micheal
Jordan.
Started and played on three NBA Championship teams, 1984-1985, 1986-1987,
and 1987-1988. 1988 NBA Finals MVP.
Enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame,
2003.
