Things got chippy once again between The Challenge star Cory Wharton and his fight opponent Chase DeMoor, as the two reality TV stars appeared at an event to hype up their upcoming boxing match.
Cory, 31, was at a pre-fight press conference with his opponent on Thursday, and things reached a boiling point as the two opponents faced one another on stage to pose for pre-fight photos.
As Cory was jawing with his opponent in a face-off pose, the Too Hot to Handle star lightly grabbed one of Cory’s clenched fists, then pretended to pat him on the head. From there, Cory kept trash-talking, and Chase knocked Cory’s baseball cap off his head.
The Challenge star didn’t appreciate the move. In video footage that Chase shared to his official Instagram page,...

Exclusive: Few actors will have put their bodies through as much for a role as Tim Realbuto who lost a record 154 lbs for movie Bobcat Moretti.
In the recently wrapped U.S. indie feature, Realbuto plays an obese Ms patient who takes up his late father’s sport of boxing to overcome personal tragedy and help find inner peace. Vivica A.Fox (Kill Bill), Taryn Manning (Orange Is The New Black), Matt Peters (Orange Is The New Black), Matt McCoy (Jack Ryan), Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers), rapper Coolio and Oscar-nominee Sally Kirkland (Anna) also star in the feature, whose first trailer is above. When filming began in late 2020, at the height of the pandemic, Realbuto weighed close to 400 lbs. After finishing part one of the film, the production took almost a year off to give the actor time to lose the weight needed for part two. When cast and crew reconvened...

A second season of The Tomorrow People is in the planning stages.
Exec producer Greg Berlanti told Digital Spy that he and his team have "a lot of ideas" for the future of the sci-fi revamp, which airs on E4 in the UK.
"We definitely have it planned out," he said. "I think like any shows that are doing about what we're doing [ratings-wise] in the States, it will definitely be a conversation.
"We'll have to make our case for why and hopefully the TV gods will look upon us fondly and we'll get a shot at it."
The Tomorrow People is a remake of the classic ITV science-fiction series, with Berlanti telling DS that a direct continuation of the original was "never really considered".

Everyone was very busy in the "Tomorrow People" episode, "Thanatos." Kidnapping, murder, revelations, British professors with weird mushroom tea and even a "Matrix"-style brain machine were all part of the fun.
It's just too bad it all ended so poorly for just about all of the good guys.
Worst. Idea. Ever.
Stephen is still all worked up -- and rightly so -- about seeing his maybe-dead father and learning the word, "Thanatos," from him. Everyone else is a bit skeptical of this -- and rightly so -- since Stephen was having a near-death experience himself at the time.
But these crazy genetically evolved kids will do anything for Stephen, so Cara and Russell concoct what may be the worst plan in "Tomorrow People" history: They decide to break into Jedikiah's house and pick his brain while the man is asleep.
Nothing could go wrong, right?
Yeah ... Unfortunately, Jedikiah isn't...

In the original British series of "The Tomorrow People," Nicholas Young played the character of John, the de facto leader of the genetically advanced young people. He returns to the series after almost 40 years in the upcoming episode, "Thanatos," playing Dr. Aldus Crick.
Check out this interview for more on the character and actor.
What can you say about your character in the new version of "The Tomorrow People"?
Nicholas Young: Aldus Crick is an English, eccentric professor who, about 20 years ago, was a lecturer at Princeton University, where one of his colleagues -- Dr. Jedikiah Price -- was also a lecturer. And he introduces me to Roger Price who has these extraordinary abilities. He swears me to secrecy and from that time on, Roger Price and my character, Aldus Crick, try to develop a safe haven for Tomorrow People to hide away and choose the appropriate way to...

The last we saw of The Tomorrow People, Stephen told Cara and John that he had seen his father. And now, with this week’s introduction of the scientist who originally discovered Stephen’s father, it seems answers aren’t far away.
Playing that scientist, Dr. Aldus Crick, is Nicholas Young, who played John on the original U.K. series. Crick is introduced in tonight’s episode 8, and with him come flashbacks involving Jedekiah and Roger, as well as an introduction to the man in charge of Ultra.

"The Tomorrow People" will return with a new episode -- "Thanatos" -- on Wednesday, Dec. 4. Find out what's coming with these five spoilers.
1. The title of the episode, "Thanatos," was first uttered at the end of the last episode, "Limbo." What did Stephen's father mean by this strange word? The explanation is given throughout much of the episode but here are two hints: 1) It's Greek and 2) this is a nickname.
2. Flashbacks in "Thanatos" focus again on John (Luke Mitchell). Fans already know that John left Jedikiah (Mark Pellegrino) and Ultra after being made into a killer. But this episode will show the exact event that made John run off on his own. It's a big deal.
3. Nicholas Young, the actor who played John in the original "Tomorrow People" series, makes his first appearance as Dr. Aldus Crick. He proves to be very helpful to Stephen (Robbie Amell) and his friends.

So we went straight to the source to get the dish on this first season of Tomorrow People from executive producers Greg Berlanti and Phil Klemmer. And while they kept the goods locked up tighter than Jedikiah’s biomedical Ultra compound, we were able to get a few juicy details. Like, when are we going to get more of those shirts off? Check it out.
But beware of Spoilers…..

"The Tomorrow People" was originally a British science-fiction series that ran in the 1970s. In the show, a man named John led the group of supernaturally evolved young adults. That same man, actor Nicholas Young, has now been cast in a recurring role in the CW remake.
The new role for Young is that of Aldus Crick, according to TVGuide.com. Crick is the scientist who discovered and studied the first generation of Tomorrow People, including Stephen's (Robbie Amell) father. Helping Stephen find that father, however, will make Crick a target of Ultra, the paramilitary organization out to find and capture the Tomorrow People.

Nicholas Young is on his way back to The Tomorrow People.
The actor - who starred on the original version of this upcoming CW drama as John Young (who will be portrayed on the new series by Luke Mitchell) - will appear on Episodes 8 and 9 of Season 1.
Look for Young to come on board as a scientist named Aldus Crick who discovered and examined the first generation of Tomorrow People.
He will have a connection to Robbie Amell's Stephen Jameson via the latter's father, as Stephen will hope Crick has information about his dad's disappearance.
The Tomorrow People tells the tale of a group of individuals who learn they are the next step in human evolution. Think The X Men meets Heroes and tune in for the series premiere on Wednesday, October 9, following the opener of Arrow Season 2.

The Tomorrow People remake has cast original series star Nicholas Young.
Young - who played John on the '70s ITV sci-fi series - has been cast in a new role on The CW's forthcoming remake, TV Guide reports.
The English actor will play Aldus Crick, a scientist who first discovered the Tomorrow People, in the new show's eighth and ninth episodes.
Young starred as John - the role played by Home and Away's Luke Mitchell in the remake - between 1973 and 1979 and was the only cast member to remain for the original Tomorrow People's entire six-year run.
Robbie Amell (Revenge) and Peyton List (Mad Men) will also star in The CW's series, with Lost's Mark Pellegrino cast as villain Jedikiah.
Julie Plec - who developed the revamp - previously admitted that she is a fan of the original Tomorrow People and used to watch the series as a child.

Nicholas Young is following up his six-year stint on the original The Tomorrow People (in which he played the group's young leader, John), with a role in The CW's remake of the seventies series.
Young is to appear in episodes eight and nine of the new series, which makes its debut on the 9th of October in the Us and shortly afterwards on E4 in the UK.
