- In March, 2009, Hammad Zaidi created and founded "Script Accessible", a screenwriting contest to promote writers with disabilities, as well as writers who write about disabled characters. "Script Accessible" was housed at the Slamdance Screenwriting Contest from 2009-2010. In 2009, the awards ceremony was held in Park City, Utah in conjunction with the WGA-West, and the 2010 awards ceremony was held at the WGA-West offices in Los Angeles.

- Hammad Zaidi is a partner at Industry Corporation, a thriving video game and multimedia company based in Kitchener, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and Redondo Beach.
