Many film projects followed since then, including Der Eisbär (1998).
In 2004, Zickler became the managing director of Til Schweiger's second film production company, Barefoot Films. Kokowääh (2011) grossed $43 million followed by a sequel that hit theaters in 2013.
The story of Friendship! (2010) is based on Zickler's life, which he produced as well. It was the most successful German movie in 2010.
In December 2014, the family-friendly dramedy Head Full of Honey (2014) was released. It is their most successful film to date breaking the 6, 3 million admissions barrier of their 2007 hit Rabbit Without Ears (2007), reaching an audience of 7 million.
