F1 racing is surging in popularity in the United States. Spurred by the popularity of Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive to Survive, the high-octane docu-series now filming its fifth season, new audiences in the U.S. are finally finding a sport that’s wildly popular across the globe. As a result, the U.S. now boasts a record three F1 races on its calendar: one in Miami, held for the first time last May; one in Austin, on October 23; and a new race in Las Vegas, scheduled for November 23, 2023.

Geez, these F1 2013 videos are coming on fast and furious (haha, cars!). In the most recent trailer for the upcoming racing sim from Codemasters, the focus is placed on the seemingly very important Ferrari 312 T2. I’m not intimately familiar with it or anything, but that doesn’t change the fact that it looks incredibly sexy coming around the bend at the beginning of this video.
Aside from slow motion car porn, the trailer is essentially a promo for the game’s new Classic Edition. In that version, you’ll be able to race famous cars, drivers, and circuits from various eras of F1 history. My knowledge on that is a bit stiff, but I imagine F1 junkies will really get a kick out of it. Other sports games have been doing this kind of thing for years, so it’s definitely a good move on Codemasters’ end.

I’m not enough of a Formula One junkie to instantly start drooling/sweating/other bodily function at the mention of a 1988 Ferrari F1-87/88C, but that doesn’t mean I’m not enough of a general geek for those things to start happening once I actually see a picture.
The car, which is shown above, is quite beautiful and so, I suppose it should be considered good news then that this very vehicle will be included in this year’s edition of Codemasters’ yearly F1 simulator, F1 2013.
The rest of the jargon is kind of lost on me, but I’m sure anyone more familiar with the series or the sport will eat this up. So for those folks, be sure to check out the press release below. The trailer below is both awesomely and comically dramatic, so that’s something as well.

The Wall of Champions is perhaps one of the most recognisable walls in Formula 1. It has claimed the cars of many champions over the years such as Hill, Schumacher, Vettel and Jacques Villeneuve the son of the great Gilles Villeneuve whom the Canadian circuit is named after. Partly wet and partly dry, this race weekend was excellent.
Qualifying
Throughout qualifying there was a steady amount of rainfall which helped in mixing the grid up for the race. Q1 saw both Marussia and Caterham drivers out along with Romain Grosjean and Paul Di Resta again. A poor showing from the Force India team as Di Resta had to start out of position again. Romain Grosjean was also put to the back of the grid after he was given a 10 place grid penalty for his collision with Daniel Ricciardo in Monaco. Q2 was disrupted towards the end by Felipe Massa spinning off...

Rebelle - Friendly ghost warning
There are a host of wonderful moments in this picture, but it is those which spoke to the film’s pseudo-supernatural nature that I remember most fondly. The protagonist’s connection to the spirit world has see see the ghosts of the dead at various moments. The nondescript actors portraying the spectres are painted in white from head to toe and their eyes are equipped with some strange contact lenses, thus perfectly whitening them as well. The ghosts are not scary per say, but definitely a creepy, odd addition to the picture, with their first ever appearance being the most effect,...

Youngsters, by which it is meant the group of people between the ages of 16 to 24, are unfortunately the victims and offenders of far too many said behind the wheel accidents, especially in La Belle Province. Just what are the reasons that might explain such a disastrous reality? Seasoned documentary filmmaker Paul Arcand takes a look into the world of teenagers and young adults and their precious automobiles, learning how they drive, why they drive and, most importantly, under what conditions do they drive.

Dannii Minogue has claimed that she does not have a boyfriend because she is too "picky" when it comes to men. The X Factor judge admitted that she is more careful about who she dates following her failed marriage to actor Julian McMahon and broken engagement with racing driver Jacques Villeneuve. "It's too easy to say that successful, independent women are single because they focus too much on their work. If the right guy came along I would be happy, but I'm picky," (more)...
