This isn’t going to help with the people who already blame him for Brothers & Sisters‘ worst storyline. According to Buzzfeed, Grimes was fine if Lafayette had an unrequited crush on James, but he didn’t want to participate in a story where a mutual romance developed between James and Lafayette. On the other hand, this seems to confirm that True Blood‘s final season will include a romance for Lafayette.

Why Bravo couldn't wait to air this episode of The Real Housewives of Miami this Thursday instead of last night is beyond me, but one thing is for sure: it was the most entertaining episode of the entire show's existence. Hands down.
Instead of a lingerie party, Lisa's charity function was a triple header event that featured more fisticuffs than the repeatedly advertised Joanna Krupa vs. Adriana de Moura fight, which served as the main event of the episode. Before that debacle went down, we had to suffer through more Karent bashing, a verbal bitch fest between Lea and Karent's friend named Beau (who I swear I've seen on some other reality show before), Elaine Lancaster/James and Beau getting into it, and Lisa having a justified hissy fit once James shoved Beau into her pool, splashing the DJ equipment and almost ruining her party. Then the inevitable punch occurred,...

San Francisco — Suddenly, the next version of the iPhone doesn't seem so important. It's time to mourn Steve Jobs, the Silicon Valley maestro who always seemed to hit the right note as he transformed Apple Inc. into technology's greatest hits factory.
It didn't take long for the people who loved their iPhones, iPods, iPads and Macs to begin gathering to pay their respects to the man who made it all happen.
Scott Robbins, a barber and Apple fan for nearly 20 years, came to Apple's San Francisco store as soon as he heard about Jobs' death Wednesday afternoon.
"To some people, this is like Elvis Presley or John Lennon _it's a change in our times," Robbins, 34, said. "It's the end of an era, of what we've known Apple to be. It's like the end of the innovators."
The world also lost a showman, whose flair for the dramatic – there was always...

Sky One’s new comedy drama Mount Pleasant started last night with them gloating a star-studded cast and a show written by Sarah Hooper off of Shameless. The shows lead role of Lisa is played by Sally Lindsay who was reportedly really happy and excited by the new show and Sky One website even claims she ‘raves’ about it. From what I’ve gathered it’s meant to be a sort of British Desperate Housewives style look at suburban life and all the “nonsense” that comes with it. I can definitely say that if felt desperate and there were some housewives in it.
The first episode begins with Lisa being dropped off in town by her husband of ten years Dan (Daniel Ryan) and a tiny piece of dialogue that reads, Dan, “have a nice afternoon”, then Lisa, “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do”, and then in unison they both say,...

Abbey Johnston and Lisa Parker have admitted that they are best friends once more.
The were featured on last night’s X Factor show and sang Shayne Ward’s That’s My Goal. Their rendition was so bad that Simon Cowell branded it “the worst audition in history,” after which Abbey punched Lisa square in the face.
Abs admitted that Lisa wouldn’t speak to her for months after the audition in June.
She told The News Of The World:
“We’ve made up now.
“I’ve apologised and so has she. She made us look like idiots, which angered me.
“It wasn’t nice of me to punch her but I was a bit hyper that day.
“I tried to ring her afterwards but her sister said she didn’t want anything more to do with me.”
However a chance meeting in a local job centre, saw the pair rekindle their friendship.

Tonight we finally got the chance to watch the much anticipated X Factor punch up, that we have been waiting weeks to see.
Best friends Abbey and Lisa showed up in Birmingham to audition for Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Natalie Imbruglia. But their shot at fame turned sour and just a few hours later, Lisa had a black eye and the pair were sworn enemies.
As they took to the stage, Lisa exclaimed:
“Oh my god it’s Louis. Oh my god it’s Cheryl. (To Louis) She (Abbey) was saying you were really fit earlier Louis. And I said he’s an old man, sorry! I said you could be the same age as my granddad.”
They were soon booed by the crowd and didn’t take the criticism well, in fact before they even began to sing, Abbey and Lisa had stormed off the stage.

X Factor sources say that Simon Cowell allowed warring pals Abbey Johnston and Lisa Parker to watch the clip of them fighting on stage, before it airs on tonight’s show.
The duo showed up to the Birmingham auditions earlier this year and sang Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey and Shayne Ward’s That’s My Goal. Their renditions were so bad that Simon Cowell branded it “the worst audition in history,” after which Abbey punched Lisa square in the face.
An X Factor source said: “Simon’s first thought is always how viewers will react and he doesn’t want to victimise or upset anyone who goes on stage. He thought it was a really memorable audition and the girls seem keen for it to be shown as well now after they spoke with the production team. They’ll certainly become overnight stars.”

Closing tomorrow night’s X Factor show will be singing duo Abbey Johnston and Lisa Parker.
Before auditioning for the panel, Abbey told the cameras:
“We’re both really loud and bubbly and together we like to just put our music on and jump around. Me and Lisa want this really really bad.”
“We want to live the dream, get on stage and be ourselves, show our personalities and hopefully the judges will like us.”
Lisa added:
“I don’t wanna mess up for her and she don’t wanna mess up for me.”

X Factor hopefuls ‘The Reason’ have admitted that they almost auditioned to become a Village People tribute band.
The five piece group, consisting of friends Scott White, Glenn Vine, Nathan Rawlings and Marc Higgins were featured on last Saturday’s show when they wowed the judges with Cheryl Cole’s Fight For This Love.
Simon Cowell told them:
I like the fact that you did nothing more than sing the song. You’ve worked out the harmonies really well, its’ a clever song, you sounded in tune, you actually sound really good. The less is more with a group like you. The only issue is if you got through and Louis was looking after you, you kow what would happen. It would be suits, bow ties and Could It Be Magic.

Simon Cowell has said that call girl Chloe Mafia will not be banned from The X Factor, as long as she doesn’t continue her activities whilst on the show.
The Sun revealed that the former Snog Marry Avoid contestant, was charging £160 an hour for sex and was going by the name of Candy. None of this seems to have bothered Cowell, who told the newspaper:
“We haven’t banned prostitutes.
“I think you’d want to show the story if we’re allowed – I want to see the story.
“We can’t just take people off the show because they might do something that upsets some people.
“If a person applies to be on The X Factor it’s obvious to me that they want to do something better with their life.”
An X Factor spokeswoman added:
“We don’t discriminate. We will look into the matter.”

Simon Cowell has reportedly demanded that an episode of The X Factor, due to air in September, will instead be shown on ITV tomorrow night.
The swap came about after Simon and the producers spent days editing and re-working audition footage, after viewers complained about auto-tuning on last week’s show.
Cowell, 50, told The Daily Mail: ‘People have got to be able to trust The X Factor – we are not faking anything.
‘People love this show, millions watch it every week and we absolutely respect that, we never take it for granted.’
After more than 300 people complained to ITV about the use voice altering technology on the reality TV show, Simon ordered a complete ban on auto-tuning from here on in. The numerous newspaper articles and widespread media coverage of the issue even led to American idol bosses issuing a statement denying that they touch up their contestant’s vocals.

Britain’s Next Top Model host Elle Macpherson has hit out at the show’s panelist Julien Macdonald, after he claimed that plus sized girls have no place on the catwalk.
The fashion designer was referring to contestant Simone Clark – who’s only a size 10. He added:
“This is a serious show. A catwalk model is a size six to eight.
“You can’t have a plus-size girl winning – it makes it a joke.”
However, Elle has hit back saying that the Living show is for girls of all shapes and insisted that the fashion industry places far too much emphasis on size.
She told The Sun:
“We’ve got beautiful girls in all different shapes and sizes on the show.
“As far as I’m concerned we have a great variety going on here.”

Simon Cowell showed up to today’s X Factor London auditions wearing Tom Cruise like high heeled shoes.
The music mogul and reality TV guru didn’t put much effort into the rest of his outfit. His baggy grey t-shirt could have been from Asda and the jeans were pretty unremarkable too, but one area where Simon isn’t prepared to compromise is on his footwear. Measuring approximately five foot seven inches, Mr Cowell obviously feels that he needs a bit of a boost and thankfully he chose not to go for an Alan Sugar style booster seat.
Cowell’s footwear has been a point of discussion between his friends before now. On the 2007 season of American Idol, during a chat with contestant Melinda Doolittle, Ryan Seacrest quipped with Simon:
“Simon, any advice on the high heels?” Never lost for words, Cowell answered, “You should know Ryan.”

X Factor guest judge Natalie Imbruglia has been accused of favouritism, after she gave her yes to a singer that sang at her birthday party a few years ago.
Natalie stood in for pregnant judge Dannii Minogue at Sunday and Monday’s Birmingham auditions. During her stint on the show, a young opera singer named Keedy Green sang ‘Time To Say Goodbye’ for the judges. After her performance, the ‘Torn’ singer said:
“I recognise you. You sang at my birthday a few years back. I remember because it made me cry it was so amazing. I’m definitely putting you through.”
However, some of the unsuccessful acts had an attack of the green eyed monster and later told The Sun:
“What a coincidence that someone who Natalie knew got to sing in front of the judges and got put through.”
But a production source said: “Keedy was brilliant.”

Two X Factor wannabes insulted temporary judge Natalie Imbruglia, when she sat in on the Birmingham auditions this week.
Pop songtress Natalie was sitting in for regular judge Dannii Minogue on Sunday, when the two teenagers took to the stage. Abbie and Lisa, both 18 years old, began their rendition of ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ but it was no Glee moment…not even close. One girl was unhappy with how the song was progressing and so just a few lines in, she threw the microphone at her friend and stormed off stage.
An audience member told The Sun: “They had only been on for two seconds when one got the hump, chucked the microphone in the other’s face and stormed off.
“She eventually came back and they started to sing. Simon stopped them and said one was better than the other, but they were both pretty awful. Natalie piped up...

75 year old Jimmy Ford does a jig and reminisces about Ireland with Louis
Jimmy Forde impressed the Britain’s Got Talent judges with his Irish dancing routine and managed to get himself out through to tonight’s semi final show.
Check out an interview with the Irish pensioner below in which he reveals that he has been dancing for 300 years, how much he loves St Patricks day and his former claim to fame.
When and how did you discover you had your talent?
I have been doing Irish dancing for about 300 years, only joking but I have been doing it for a long time, I just love dancing and music. I like to dance to keep me fit and it seems to be working and people seem to really enjoy my dancing and I’ve always had good feedback.
What is the largest audience you have performed in front of before this show?...

This summer, Big Brother returns for one last, loud and lengthy hurrah, and with it, as ever, is its cheeky and irreverent younger sibling, Big Brother’s Little Brother. At the helm once again will be George Lamb (alongside new presenter and Big Brother obsessive Emma Willis). Here, George looks forward to a fantastic summer, looks back on his favourite moments over the show’s history, and reveals why real men can still cry.
So, George, what can you reveal about what’s in store for us with the last ever Big Brother this summer?
There’s nothing I can tell you yet! What I do know is that they’re going to be pulling out all the stops with the show this year. I think the intention is to really push the boundaries of what we’ve seen before, and make the most of it and create something really special.

X Factor star Lloyd Daniels has assured fans that he is ok after being injured in a car crash.
The accident occured as the singer was dropping his flatmate Lucie Jones to a London tube station just five weeks after passing his driving test. He wrote off his £13,000 mini and sustained bruises, burns and whiplash in the crash last week.
Lloyd wrote on his Twitter page: “Thanks for the support guys.
“I didn’t want to worry you all myself because I knew you’d panic. Thanks again.”
Lloyd’s mum Lisa told the Daily Star: “We just thank God it was not much worse. He is a really careful driver. He has only just passed his test so he does not want to get points on his licence.
“He’s still recovering. He’s got quite bad whiplash and was really upset.”

For "Fox Rocks" week, The Simpsons decided to celebrate by replacing their intro / couch gag with a musical number to the Ke$ha hit, "Tik Tok." From what we've seen around the web, fans are anything but pleased with this intro.
Myself? I loved it. As a professional club-avoider and having never listened to a pop station, the Ke$ha song is not as played out to me as others. The animation was great and the characters were all perfectly used for an entertaining intro. Besides guys, chill out, it was just the opening. It was better than "Fox Rocks" ruining the actual episode.
As for the actual content of "To Surveil With Love," the episode focused on Ned becoming Big Brother as he watched the town of Springfield through a series of cameras throughout the town set up the vein of the UK. The Homer's backyard sequences felt reminiscent of the prior prohibition episode,...

They nicknamed her Cheeky Charlie during the competition, but tonight’s So You Think You Can Dance final, Charlie Bruce had emerged as a mature, competent dancer.
After a dislocated shoulder caused my personal favourite – Robbie White – to have to drop out, Charlie found herself in the final three with Lizzie Gough and Tommy Franzen. All the finalists danced in couples, either with other finalists or with former contestants who were brought back to fill the gap left by Robbie.
However, it was Charlie who received the most adulation from the judges, who praised her for her development throughout the competition. They noted that she’d grown both “as a dancer and a woman”. But it was head judge Nigel Lythgoe who might have tipped the scales in Charlie’s favour. Following her dance with ex-contestant Drew, Nigel threw impartiality to the wind and said:
If people say I’m being biased toward you tonight,...

The popular voyeuristic reality series Big Brother is back for its tenth season in the UK, this time with queer female contestants. One of the UK's more visible television programs, at least according to tabloid coverage, the return of the series last week attracted around half a million viewers.
The format of Big Brother 10 — which is based on the series of the same name developed in the Netherlands, and airs on Channel 4 in the UK, E4 in Ireland, and S4C in Wales — is consistent with previous seasons, and with the U.S. version: 16 participants compete over 13 weeks to win a cash prize.
These "Housemates" of different ages and backgrounds are incarcerated in the Big Brother House (with no contact with the outside world), required to compete in weekly challenges for various rewards, and voted out by their fellow housemates one-by-one each week.
