The upcoming film ‘Yaariyan 2’ is going all emotional on the musical front as it has released the music video for its latest song, ‘Bewafaa Tu’. A song of heartbreak and longing, the music video complements and accentuates the audio, showcasing the pure grief that comes with broken trust, though stylistically it is more modern as opposed to the original Altaf Raja song ‘Pehle To Kabhi Kabhi Gham’.
The original song by the famed Qawaali singer was more classically rooted and sonically very different from the current track. While ‘Bewaffa Tu’ has a much more modern style, the Altaf Raja song has a more filmy flair though both manage to echo sadness.
Production wise they are also incredibly different given the massive time difference between the two songs. ‘Pehle To Kabhi Kabhi Gham’ has a very classic 1990s feel while ‘Bewaffa Tu’, despite sounding much more polished sounds much less filmy.

Popular qawwal Altaf Raja has teamed up with Bollywood singer-composer Payal Dev for a new track.
Raja, who became a household name singing "Tum to there pardesi" in the nineties, has collaborated with Payal for a song titled "Ae Sanamm", which banks on a retro vibe.
"I composed this melody specially keeping him (Altaf Raja) in mind and imagining how he would sound on this," Payal said of her upcoming track. 'Ae Sanamm' is a song I am personally fond of. When this idea came to my mind I could only think of Altaf Raja justifying this.
We have grown up listening to his songs," she said of the 52-year-old qawwali singer, whose breakthrough album of 1994, "Tum To Thehre Pardesi", sold over four million units.
With "Ae Sanamm", Raja and Payal have tried keeping a retro nineties vibe intact.

The music album of director Rajkumar Gupta's "Ghanchakkar" has four tracks and a remix number. Composed with the intention of providing fullsome entertainment and fun, it is a little crazy.
Amit Trivedi, who has shown his versatility as a singer, belts out the first track "Ghanchakkar babu". The quirky and peppy lyrics make it an out-and-out entertainer. The music scores well by being in rhythm. Shut your braincells and enjoy the craziness of the number!
It has an impressive remix version as well, composed by Tanuj Tikku and Aftab Khan. The beats are louder and the composer duo has thrown.
