Journalist Ed Krassenstein suggested to Wikipedia that they should take the deal.
“You can always change it back after you collect,” he wrote.
Musk replied to Krassenstein, adding a condition that Wikipedia must keep the change for “one-year minimum. I mean, I’m not a fool lol.”

Thousands of people gathered at Union Square in New York City this afternoon hoping to score a free PlayStation 5s and other electronics after Twitch streamer Kai Cenat promised a “huge giveaway” there at 4 p.m.
The park was already packed at 3 p.m. and, according to NYPD chief Jeffrey Maddrey, “individuals in the park began to commit acts of violence towards the police and the public.”

“We don’t hear much about Democrats and leftists being let back on Twitter,” tweeted conspiracy theorist and election denier Dinesh D’Souza in November, a few long weeks after Elon Musk acquired the platform. “Why? Because they were never kicked off in the first place.” Musk himself replied, “Correct.”

Of course, this framing is disingenuous. Twitter has, in years past, purged activist accounts linked to the Occupy movement while supposedly cracking down on bots. And if other left-leaning figures have avoided bans, it could have...

Two political activists who have a history of trolling Donald Trump and his supporters have been permanently suspended by Twitter.
The accounts of Ed and Brian Krassenstein were pulled after Twitter alleged the brothers used bogus accounts to inflate their reach.
“The Twitter Rules apply to everyone,” said a Twitter statement. “Operating multiple fake accounts and purchasing account interactions are strictly prohibited. Engaging in these behaviors will result in permanent suspension from the service.”
The Krassenstein brother denied that they engaged in fake accounts.
“If Twitter wants to ban us for having multiple accounts then that’s their right,” Ed Krassenstein wrote in a post Friday on Facebook. “Our multiple accounts did not break any of Twitters terms, but it’s their right to ban whoever they want. What they shouldn’t be doing is smearing our names over and over again by claiming that we ‘purchased account interactions.’”

Twitter erupted Monday morning when President Donald Trump shared his branding expertise with Boeing, after American Airlines announced it was cancelling Boeing’s Max 737 flights through mid-August. That after Southwest Airlines, the largest operator of Boeing jets, canceled its Max flights through 5 August.
The U.S. was one of the last countries to ground the plane last month after a second deadly crash in Ethiopia, following by months a crash in Indonesia. Since the second Ethiopian Airlines crash, the stock has plunged 12% and cutting back production, lost 24$ from its market cap.
“What do I know about branding, maybe nothing (but I did become President!),” Trump simpered in a morning tweet.
“ut if I were Boeing, I would Fix the Boeing 737 Max, add some additional great features, & Rebrand the plane with a new name,” he advised.
“No product has suffered like this one. But again, what the hell do I know?...
