TorinoFilmLab (Tfl) has selected six projects and 13 production execs for its final Green Film Lab workshop of the year.
The six projects consist of five feature films and one TV series. Among them are Lauren Marsden’s eco-fantasy thriller feature Mama D’Lo, in which an aspiring environmental manager is summoned to the jungle by supernatural forces after witnessing a bribery scheme that threatens a vulnerable river in Trinidad.

Vytautas Katkus’ Lithuanian feature The Visitor has won its latest development prize, taking the Coproduction Village award at Les Arcs Industry Village.
It was selected for the €6,000 prize by Remi Burah, president of ArteKino Foundation and CEO of Arte France Cinema. Burah noted “a director walking the line between fiction and documentary, social realism and fantastic poetry.”

UK filmmaker Richard Billingham’s autobiographical feature Ray & Liz was named best film of the European Debut Competition at the 24th edition of the Vilnius International Film Festival (Viff) in Lithuania on April 7.
Billingham’s feature debut - which is being handled internationally by Luxbox - had its world premiere at last year’s Locarno Film Festival and has since picked up top awards at festivals ranging from Thessaloniki and Seville to Luxembourg and Batumi.
