Native American name is "Keish", named after his great-great uncle Keish, more famously known as "Skookum Jim", discoverer of the Klondike Gold Rush in the Yukon in 1898.

After finishing acting school, Link traveled around the world for a year, backpacking and camping.
With a diverse family heritage, Link is a member of both the Tlingit & Tagish First Nations, as well as Scottish, Swedish and Norwegian.
While studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, Baker received the Hume Cronyn Scholarship and the Charles Jehlinger Award for Achievement in Acting.
Great Grandson of Angela Sidney, honored Tagish storyteller, author and recipient of the Order of Canada.
