There was recently a screening for Legendary Pictures’ upcoming Pokemon movie Detective Pikachu in Japan. The reactions from those who attended started flooding social media, and as you’ll see, fans seem to love the film!
Words like cute, heartwarming, and adorable are littered throughout the reactions. One says that it’s the best video game adaptation that has been made, and another likens the film to Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.
This is a movie that I’ve been on the fence about. It’s one I haven’t really been excited about, but these first reactions do lift my spirits. It’s always nice to see a movie you’re not so sure about bombarded with great reviews! I hope that the movie lives up to the hype!
My kids are super excited about watching this movie, and in the end I know they’re going to love it.
