David D Perez (born February 28, 1970) an American filmmaker, his early directing career includes films, Life Chances (1992), Across a Line (1994) and Blemish (1995). After focusing on Film Studies at the University of New Mexico, in 1996 he moved to Mexico City and immersed himself in the art and culture. He collaborated with talented international artists, taking part in various artistic endeavors. In 2009 a thriving film industry brought him back to Albuquerque. Since then, Perez has gained success, writing and directing films, He's the Cowboy (2018), Expolo, (2019), King Daniel (2020) and Bobble Head Exordium (2022). Perez earned Best Movie filmed in Quarantine at the Five Continents International Film Festival and was a Semi- Finalist for Drama Short in the Quarantini Film Festival, the Mindfield Film Festival and was an official selection in the South Film and Arts Academy Festival. The Shock Room (2021) earned best Terror Short at the Five Continents International Film Festival. His 2022 film Bobble Head Exordium won Best Short Documentary at the Mindfield Film Festival.
