Ibon Errazkin

A former member of Spanish cult 90s band Le Mans, Ibon Errazkin made
his debut as a film composer with the original soundtrack for Jorge
Iglesias's youth comedy Gente Pez (2001). Since then he has written and
recorded scores for numerous short films: Barro (Jose Antonio Rodríguez
Maniega, 2002), Tareas Domésticas (Nicolás Méndez), Amigo No Gima
(Iñaki Peñafiel, 2004) and, most notably, Máquina (Gabe Ibáñez, 2006),
which received the award for the best music and sound design at the
2007 edition of the Interfilm festival in Berlin. At the same time he
has pursued a career as a musical producer for numerous Spanish pop
artists (Carlos Berlanga, Nosoträsh), recorded two solo albums and
written music for art projects such as Alvaro Machimbarrena's Telón 20
(2001, Plaza Festival, San Sebastian) and Sangüesoir (Sangüesa, 2010),
5 Km/h (Photoespaña, 2004) and several exhibitions by Scottish
photographer Adrian Tyer at the Max Estrella gallery in Madrid. Also a
renowned publicity composer, he has written and recorded jingles for,
among others, Coca-Cola, Ikea, Orange, Telefonica, MacDonald's and
Terra. He is currently a member of electronic pop duo Single.
