Christine Lambrecht
1984 Graduated from high school in Viernheim. 1984 Studied law in Mannheim and Mainz, first and second state law examinations. 1992 Postgraduate studies at the University of Administration in Speyer, degree: Master of Administrative Sciences.
Since 1992 lectureship at the University of Cooperative Education in Mannheim for civil and commercial law, lectures in adult education; since 1995 self-employed lawyer in Viernheim.
Member of the AWO, VdK and Bürger und Polizei e. V. associations, founding member of the Frauenhaus Bergstraße association.
Since 1982 member of the SPD, board member of the SPD-Hessen-Süd and the SPD-Landesverband Hessen, member of the SPD party council. Since 1985, city councillor in Viernheim, 1989 to 1997, member of the Bergstrasse district council.
Member of the Bundestag since 1998; since October 2002 Chairwoman of the SPD parliamentary group's Working Group on Rules of Procedure, Election Scrutiny and Immunity.
