Brendan Morais and Pieper James made enemies last week as they rekindled their relationship on national TV. The two were accused of orchestrating a grand plan to generate followers on the beach, but left Natasha Parker as a casualty. Natasha was seeing Brendan before Pieper’s arrival, and he quickly ditched her to reunite with Pieper.
Chris Conran and Alana Milne were accused of something similar, and the cast bullied them off the beach during last week’s episode. With Chris and Alana’s exit, the group redirected their attention to addressing Brendan and Pieper. Demi Burnett called out the double standard of allowing them to stay, noting the cast let it slide since they were all friends with Brendan.
Despite that, Joe Amabile led the charge and confronted the couple with a few of the women.

The episode resumed with conflict between enemies Aaron Clancy and Thomas Jacobs over their love triangle with Tammy Ly. Tammy tried and failed to de-escalate Aaron, who was emotional and felt “betrayed” by her actions. Her cries were met with hostility, and the two ended their relationship before the rose ceremony.
Another love triangle was in the midst of exploding, as Karl Smith and Chasen Nick fought over Deandra Kanu. Karl had given Deandra a bracelet as a gift to show his affection, and Nick opted to give her a necklace to one-up the gesture. Deandra returned the bracelet to Karl, noting that she didn’t want to lead him on.
Nick’s gift rubbed Karl the wrong way, who accused him of trying to compete.

Just waiting for the drama to spill over. Bachelor in Paradise's Jessenia Cruz exclusively revealed during E! News' Daily Pop on Aug. 31 that she was expecting more than a few love triangles on the beach this summer. "I expected at least some kind of love triangle to happen," the Bachelor Nation star teased today. "I knew that things were going to bubble up pretty quickly. It was a hard thing to navigate. Emotions were involved." Jessenia intervened after Demi Burnett set out to date Kenny Brasch, who was already linked with Jessenia's fellow Bachelor bestie Mari Pepin-Solis, but Jessenia also had her hands full with a love triangle (square?) of her...

Lance Bass is a lifelong fan of “The Bachelor” and this summer, he landed his dream job hosting a show from the franchise, as one of the rotating guest hosts on the current season of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The former boy-bander ends his three-episode run on Tuesday, and Bass had such a good experience on the show, he wants to do it again.
In fact, he has an idea for a new series: “If you want the most dramatic season ever, do an LGBT version,” Bass says with a laugh.
“I think maybe it’s the time for ‘The Bachelor’ to do a gay Bachelor. I think that would be so much fun,” Bass says. “And I definitely know a host if you need it.”
“I have not talked to anyone about that, but I would be so down,” he adds.

There’s trouble in paradise!
As new contestants arrived on the “Bachelor in Paradise” beach, established couples faltered. The first victims were Maurissa Gunn and Connor Brennan, who seemingly broke up after Maurissa’s overnight in the “boom boom room” with newcomer Riley Christian. Connor admitted to feeling “deflated” upon the news and reflected on Maurissa’s less-than-transparent recap of her date.
Even the most secure couples weren’t safe. Ivan Hall and Jessenia Cruz had been a steadfast pair since the beginning of paradise, but their foundation crumbled at the arrival of bromance duo Chasen Nick and Chris Conran.
Chasen and Chris met on Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams’ season of “The Bachelorette.” The two became fast friends and entered paradise arm-in-arm with a double date card. Chris fixated on Jessenia from the start,...

Week two of “Bachelor in Paradise” began with the beloved cast title cards and introductions. Viewers then picked up from last week’s unexpected entrance where former cast member Demi Burnett returned to the beach.
The self-described “troublemaker” arrived with a date card and identified Brendan Morais as a potential suitor after meeting with Kenny and Connor. Brendan — who had recently been linked to Natasha Parker — accepted the invitation and headed to the date with Demi.
Natasha was disappointed by Brendan’s acceptance, as they expressed interest in each other during the first day. In addition to Natasha and Brendan, several other couples started to emerge: Tammy Ly and Aaron Clancy, Tahzjuan Hawkins and Tre Cooper, Maurissa Gunn and Connor, Mari Pepin-Solis and Kenny, Noah Erb and Abigail Herringer, Ivan Hall and Jessenia Cruz,...

In just one week, “Bachelor in Paradise” is back — and promises to be “bigger, bolder and sexier” than ever before.

Lil Jon’s voiceover starts off the extended sneak peek, ending with his signature “Yeah!” We also get a look at David Spade, the first of the hosts, who says: “The guys are good looking, the girls are good looking, and I’m the host.”
The sneak peek also teased a few of the connections between the cast members — including Joe and Serena P., Abigail and Noah and Kenny and Demi. But Demi isn’t the only ghost of “Bachelor’s” past featured in the teaser — Becca Kufrin, Kendall Long and Thomas Jacobs also make appearances. And of course, it wouldn’t be paradise without the...

Love was in the air(waves) on ABC last night, when “The Celebrity Dating Game” debuted after two hours of “The Bachelorette.” Though their respective results were mixed, ABC topped primetime outright. At the very bottom of the Nielsen rankings was The CW, which premiered new series “The Republic of Sarah.” That one did not do well, even by CW standards. While CBS was a close runner-up in total-viewer averages last night, the network ended up in a fifth-place tie with Spanish-language broadcaster Telemundo among adults 18-49. CBS just aired encores on Monday. ABC was first in ratings with a 0.7 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 3 million, according to preliminary numbers. From 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., “The Bachelorette” averaged a 0.8/6 and 3.2 million total viewers. At 10, “Celebrity Dating Game” bowed to a 0.4/3 and 2.6 million total viewers. Demi Burnett isn't buying Reality Steve's lengthy apology about his "graphic sex dream." The Bachelor Nation blogger, whose real name is Steve Carbone, apologized to Demi again on April 29 for his "cringey" behavior, after she claimed he made an "unwanted and unprompted sexual advance" toward her and told her about his dream last August. In his most recent note, Steve said the incident "opened my eyes" to the power dynamic that exists between the young contestants of the reality show and himself, a 45-year-old media personality. He said the dynamic "prevents any Real social relationship from happening" and "prevents genuine...

Former “Bachelor” star Colton Underwood came out as gay in an emotional interview on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, a revelation that sent shockwaves throughout the “Bachelor” fandom.
“I’ve ran from myself for a long time and I’ve hated myself for a long time, and I’m gay. I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it,” Underwood said in the interview with Robin Roberts. “The next step in all of this was sort of letting people know. Bachelor Nation has been in an uproar for the past week after host Chris Harrison's questionable and disappointing remarks during an interview on Extra with former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay regarding resurfaced photos of season 25 contestant Rachael Kirkconnell. Whew . . . where do I begin?
The amount of racist and inaccurate statements in his interview is alarming, and I was happy to see that the sirens rang loudly for many people in and out of the Bachelor world. Reactions from franchise alums and even the women of season 25 denounced Harrison's statements. Match #1: Shayna Baszler def. Bayley (Disqualification) The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Shayna Baszler was focused on making a case for a SmackDown Women’s Title opportunity, but Nia Jax helped her enter another championship picture. Following a backstage encounter, Jax entered after Baszler and watched from the WWE ThunderDome. A big knee strike from The Queen of Spades shook up Bayley and had her teammate Sasha Banks uneasy on the outside. Unable to help herself, Jax entered the fray and got brutal payback for Baszler’s backstage taunts with a huge right hand. “The Golden Role Models” found perhaps their first moment of joy since a turbulent SummerSlam as they watched.

Oh, boy, this really is going to be the most dramatic season yet of “The Bachelorette.” Just two weeks into filming Season 16 — after a four-month delay due to Covid-19 — Clare Crawley is no longer the lead and has been replaced by “Bachelor” Season 23 alum Tayshia Adams. And in a franchise first, both of them will be part of the season when it premieres in the fall. Guess after all this waiting we deserve two Bachelorettes?
ABC has not announced the shakeup — and it’s not expected to before the premiere — but multiple reports have confirmed the twist, and there’s lots of evidence backing it up. And then there was ABC’s purposely vague promo on Monday night that literally kept the Bachelorette’s face in the dark.

Well, Season 16 of “The Bachelorette” just got interesting — and not just because of all the Covid-19 production issues.

Editor's Note: There are many, many more important things to consider right now before The Bachelor. This discussion is inconsequential in the face of a global pandemic, but for the next five minutes, let's stay inside and put our Bachelor Nation hats on.
The Bachelor has been struggling. You know it, I know it, producers (maybe) know it. What was once a well-intentioned search for love has turned into sideshow act. Squabbles between the cast are encouraged behind the scenes, contestants who have been cut by the lead are allowed back on set for the sake of drama, and the finales have been messy. By the final rose ceremony - if the season even has one - even steadfast fans like myself have been groaning that they can't wait for things to wrap up.
Where did things go wrong? And how can producers turn things around? While production on Clare Crawley...
