Allen Huntspon is a Daytime Emmy-nominated Executive Producer and Director, a two-time Peabody award-winning journalist known for his work as a producer, director, and creative strategist in unscripted television. He is an alumnus of Morehouse College and a proud native of Monterey, California. As CEO of his production company, One Story Media Group, his mission is to change the world one story at a time. In 2007, Allen began his television career in live broadcast news at CNN's Larry King Live and then moved into documentary filmmaking at CNN's acclaimed documentary unit. Soon after that, he transitioned into a writer-producer role for CNN's live global news coverage, writing anchor scripts for the majority of CNN's on-air talent. Allen has worked with groundbreaking media companies, including VICE Media, CAA, Universal Pictures, Hoorae Media, YouTube Originals, BET, and Tastemade. His most recent release is the Daytime Emmy-nominated "Street Somm (2023)," which he directed and co-executive produced. He has received awards from the New York Association of Black Journalists, GEMA and Shorty Awards. Additionally, he has been nominated for the Emmys, GLAAD, and Streamy Brand Awards.
