Cam Scurrah is an Australian Actress whose notable work includes the lead role "Smile: The Series" where she received a Best Actress Award from the British Web Fest among other nominations in multiple international festivals. Cam has also recently worked on Adam Wingard's "Origins" as a lecture goer.
Cam is an avid theatre actor as well with 2022 seeing a lot of career highlights in the theatre space including playing 8 different characters with 8 different dialects in "Children of the Black Skirt" directed by Helen Strube as well as making her theatre directorial debut with "Concrete Mirage" that performed at the Anywhere Festival in 2022.
Cam also received formal training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where she received a merit scholarship and graduated with an advanced acting diploma after completing honors at the Academy. Cam is consistently continuing her training with the likes of Kristina Sexton, Joey Vierra, Melanie Zenatti, Stephen Lance, Mairi Cameron, and Christopher Sommers to name a few.
Cam also prides herself on her openness about having autism and holding acting as the reason she feels like she belongs. Due to this, Cam is passionate about making her own film and theatre that heroes everything but appearances. She will embark on this journey by casting blindly in every aspect by doing voice-over-only auditions for all future projects she embarks on including her second directorial venture of "girl." by Megan Mostyn Brown to premiere at the Anywhere Festival 2023 and be the debut of her film and theatre company "Soul and Heart"
