Amy Gershwin wrote and directed the short film "The Extra" which
screened at The Sundance Film Festival.
She has sold several screenplays to Disney/Touchstone and Dreamworks as
well as television pilots to 20th Century Fox.
She wrote for the television shows The King of Queens, The Weakest
Link, and The Stephanie Miller Show, and online for Muppets.com and
National Lampoon.
She earned her MFA in Screenwriting from Columbia University, during
which time she interned on Saturday Night Live.
She earned a BA in English/Creative Writing from UCLA.
Amy lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three children.
