- Lee Mack was born on August 4, 1968 in Southport, Lancashire, England, UK. He is a writer and actor, known for Not Going Out (2006), The Sketch Show (2001) and Kelsey Grammer Presents: The Sketch Show (2005). He has been married to Tara since 2005. They have three children.

- At age 16 he was stable boy for famous race-horse Red Rum.
- Lee once picked up a hitchhiker. After the car broke down, he got a hammer from the car trunk and, as he was passing the hitchhiker's window, jokingly told him, "don't worry, I'm not going to kill you". The hitchhiker began to cry, because he thought Lee was genuinely going to kill him.
- In 1995 he won So You Think You're Funny at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
- Attended Brunel University in London where he studied Television and Drama.
- Held two Guinness World Records titles relating to darts. The first was for the most darts number twos in one minute, which stood until 19 November 2020. Also held the record for the most darts in inner and outer bulls eyes in one minute, which held until 23 September 2016 when professional darts player James Wade broke it.
- It's a lonely life being a stand-up comedian. I love the process of making a show and it's exciting being round a table with everyone chipping in.
