It's the end of an era.
Hawaii Five-0 Season 10 Episode 22 serves as the series finale of the iconic CBS series, and while many fans may not be ready to say goodbye, it looks like the series is going out in style.
Appropriately titled "Aloha," the milestone episode finds Danny worse for wear after being abducted and left for dead.
Would CBS really allow the series to conclude with Danny dying? It would be quite the twist, but this is the series finale.
What we do know is that recurring cast members James Marsters (Victor Hesse), William Sadler (John McGarrett), and Mark Dacascos (Wo Fat) return during the goodbye episode.
Many fans have been worried that the series will not get a conclusive goodbye because of how late the decision to end the series came.
But it's hard to imagine a 10-year-old series wrapping without a big farewell planned.
Here's the official press release from CBS.

Well, that didn't take long at all.
By the end of Hawaii Five-0 Season 10 Episode 3, Quinn Liu became a member of Five-0 after hanging out with McGarrett for a day.
Danny wasn't around so someone had to hang out with him.
What are the early returns on Quinn?
So far, I like her. I still don't think she exactly serves a unique function on FIve-0, but then Jerry didn't either. So I can't hold that against her.
As an aside, the fact that Grover and Quinn were joking about Adam reminding them of Jerry and his conspiracy theories make me think Jerry will be back in a recurring role, maybe sooner than we think.
Let's hope.

The fact that Quinn makes McGarrett seem positively chatty in comparison is a plus.

Hey, "Hawaii Five-0" fans. It's time, again, to find out what's coming up in the next, new episode of this current 10th season. The next, new episode will, of course, be episode number 3. Let's give CBS a round of applause. They came through again with a few teaser descriptions for episode 3 via their official press release. We'll be working off of it for this spoiler session. So, let's not waste anymore time and just dig right into it. For starters, the producers did name this episode something. The official title for episode 3 is called,"E uhi ana ka wa i hala i na mea i hala." That means, "Passing time obscures the past" in English. So, that's neat I guess. It sounds like episode 3 will feature some very interesting, intense, highly dramatic and shocking scenes as a murdered scuba diver is found. Quinn gets arrested and more! We'll go ahead...

There are changes afoot on Oahu.
A longtime fixture left and a potential new team member made her debut on Hawaii Five-0 Season 10 Episode 1.
After one episode, I'm not at all sold that this is an improvement.
Yes, Jerry's departure did feel organic, which was important.
That didn't happen with the departures of Chin and Kono after Hawaii Five-0 Season 7, when Daniel Dae-Kim and Grace Park left in a salary dispute.
It made sense that Jerry took stock after being shot and decided to go write a book about one of his conspiracy theories that leave viewers and his teammates thinking "Huh?"
Jerry getting his badge was a series highlight, because it proved anybody could grow up and become part of Five-0.
But with the addition of Tani, Junior, and to a lesser degree Adam on Hawaii Five-0 Season 8, Jerry's role as the squad's computer wizard became less necessary, although...

With its Season 10 premiere, CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 gained a familiarly resourceful helping hand, before saying a bittersweet farewell to a longtime team member.
Picking up right where the finale left off… yes, it was Jerry whom the would-be assassin’s bullet hit. Flash forward two weeks, and he is in the hospital recovering just fine, though the brush with death, he hints during some Battleship with Junior, has led him to wonder: Is a life spent immersed in D&d campaigns a life well lived? Tani (looking ) arrives, to accompany tuxedo-clad Junes to the opera, where she plans to get in a solid three-hour nap.
