Gregg Phillip Childress was born in Newton, New Jersey, USA to Phillip Childress and Delores Valdez Childress.
Childress served in the US army.
He was a member of the music band "Vertigo in Children". Childress was well known in the horror host circle, as "Mod Ghoul", hosting "Fright Club" (2011) - were he hosted horror movies via the internet; and "Weird Web Theater" (2011) with Bob Hinton (A. Ghastlee Ghoul) which was a project that combines YouTube and Facebook. Each Friday at 8:00pm, using a variety of different horror host over the run of the show. There are links posted on Tingler TV to YouTube videos, including a movie, while the members of the group chat along in a Facebook group chat. The pilot episode ran on 3 June 2011, with A. Ghastlee Ghoul presenting the movie "The Brain That Wouldn't Die".
Childress had two children, Ethan and Hayley.
He passed away during 2015 in Wiles-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA.
