Duke Fields was a Fire Captain in a Rural VFD in Alaska during the 1990s, and once fought a house fire at a temperature of -92ºF below freezing.
In the early 1970s, legendary and renowned Television Announcer, Johnny Olson, met Duke Fields at Farmers Market in Los Angeles, and asked him to become a seat-filler at Television City. Duke Fields went on to sit in on over 1000 shows.
