- He and his singers have recorded radio jingles for many different radio stations since the 1960s, most notably KHJ and, currently, KRTH-FM in Los Angeles, all the other RKO Top 40 radio stations in the '60s and early '70s, and, currently, many other oldies stations in the U.S.
- Along with Norman Luboff, Ray Conniff, and The Other Ray Charles, he was one of the premier chorus directors of the "golden age of mood music." More than a decade's worth of best-selling albums on Liberty Records (1958-1969) include: "Ballads of the King: The Songs of Sinatra," "Invisible Tears," "We Can Fly!," "Golden Folk Song Hits," and "Great Band with Great Voices," the last with Si Zentner's orchestra.
