- Director

- Writer
Jason was born in the U.S. but subsequently lived in South Korea and Indonesia for 10 years before finally settling down in a Chicagoland suburb in Illinois called Elmhurst. Drawn to independent films as a precocious teenager, he sought out Wes Anderson's early films for inspiration and as a window to the artistic side of filmmaking. Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver sealed the deal for Jason to pursue directing as his passion. Having started an industrial production company called House Productions in Chicago that created videos for clients such as National Health Institute and Wilson Sporting Goods, he moved his base to Manhattan in New York to be closer to the pulse of independent filmmaking in 2019. Since then, he has self-produced, written and directed short films such as Trombone Magic (2021) and Nine Tenths of the Law (2019).
