A French television boss is being quizzed by police about the death of a man at his Paris apartment.
Fabrice Leseueur, 40 - the chief of staff to French Minister of Culture Christine Albanel - was found dead at TF1 International network head Patrick Binet's home last week.
Preliminary toxicology reports suggest Leseueur died from cardiac arrest, possibly after mixing alcohol and the drug Ghb, reports French newspaper Le Monde.
Binet, 56, was released from police custody on Saturday but has been placed under formal investigation - and faces possible charges of homicide and possession of controlled substances.

PARIS -- TF1 was declining comment Monday after TF1 International boss Patrick Binet was placed under investigation in connection with the death of a government official in his apartment this past week.
Fabrice Lesueur, chief of staff to France's Minister of Culture Christine Albanel, was found dead in Binet's apartment Thursday morning.
Early autopsy reports suggested Lesueur may have died of cardiac arrest from mixing synthetic narcotic GHB with alcohol during a private soiree Wednesday night. Both GHB and cocaine were found in the apartment, according to police reports.
Binet was questioned then released from police custody Saturday, but will undergo further investigation and could face up to three years in prison and a 45,000 euro fine if charged with involuntary homicide.
While TF1's news programs and Web site have yet to report on the shocking news, the French press have plastered the story all over national newspapers and Web sites. TF1 has thus far remined mum on the incident, but industry insiders are wondering how much presence Binet, who Le Journal du Dimanche called "the most influential man in French cinema" in a story Sunday, will have at the Festival de Cannes in May.

Lakeshore Entertainment is teaming with France's TF1 International to co-produce the film "The Scent of Adam", which delves into the world of ecoterrorism.
Lakeshore's Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi are developing and producing with TF1's Patrick Binet. Both producers will take on international distribution rights, except for France, which TF1 will handle.
The project is based on Jean-Christophe Rufin's best-selling French novel "Le parfum d'Adam", about a woman who unwittingly finds herself at the heart of the ecoterrorism movement and conspiracy after freeing lab animals at a research facility in Poland. The book will be published soon in the U.S.
Rufin's background is straight out of a spy thriller. He is the French ambassador to Senegal and has worked for France's Ministry of Defense, led his country's humanitarian efforts in Bosnia, worked at the French Red Cross and is a co-founder of Doctors Without Borders.
"This is an extraordinary and very contemporary spy thriller from an extraordinary man," Rosenberg said.

CANNES -- Didier Sapaut will exit as CEO of TF1 International, the film and TV rights trading arm of the French commercial network, sources said Tuesday. His departure comes as TF1 is in the process of reshaping its movie activity under Patrick Binet, former head of UGC International, who was hired in the summer. All indications are that TF1 International soon will have a radically overhauled management team. Former sales executive Perrine Teze moved over to head up TFM Distribution, the French distribution joint venture created early this year with Miramax Films, taking some TF1 International staff with her (HR 6/20). Co-production and acquisitions executive Massimo Saidel also is understood to be negotiating his departure from TF1 International.
