King Boateng
Born in Accra, Ghana and migrating to England at age 13, King discovered his passion for Acting at age 17 while attending Palmer's Sixth Form College where a drama teacher spotted his keen interest and encouraged him to apply to join the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. King was accepted and funded for his time there.. He also studied and toured, performing with the London Bubble Theatre Company.
From 2014-2015 King studied and performed at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) Youth Company under the tutelage of Phil Sheppard, Katya Benjamin and Bret Yount.
King accepted a scholarship in 2016 courtesy of Sue Stapely (Board of Trustees, at the Royal Shakespeare Company) to study for a BA (Hons) in Professional Acting at the Prestigious London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) where he performed in roles such as Jamie Carris in Simon Stephens' Country Music, Charles Condomine in Noel Cowards Blythe Spirit, Dorimant in George Etherege's Restoration Comedy, the Man of Mode & Moe in Alistair McDowall's Pomona.
King graduated from LAMDA in July 2019.
A thriving VoiceOver artist, King has also voiced promos, animations and commercials and video game characters for the BBC, Peacock Productions, Mcann, WHSmith and Side Global.
