- Mark's other music project includes a band called Scrap Metal, which includes Matthew Nelson and Gunnar Nelson of The Nelsons, Eric Martin of Mr Big and Kelly Keagy of Nightranger.
- Is the lead singer for the pop-metal band "Slaughter".
- Has acted as cartoon voices for several television shows,, perhaps most notably as the voice of "Freakazoid" on Animaniacs, before the character was given his own show.
- Touring with Slaughter, playing gigs at West Allis, Wisconsin and Denver, Colorado. (August 2009)
- Was a guitar teacher before landing the gig as vocalist in Vinnie Vincent Invasion.
- Has 2 children: Elijah and Brandon.
- Performed with the "One Less Tear" band at a cancer benefit on July 24, 2002 in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. He also did lead vocals on the song "I Can Do Anything" at the benefit.
- Was once the singer for the late 80s metal act "The Vinnie Vincent Invasion".
- One of two men to sing for the Vinnie Vincent Invasion. His vocal predecessor in the group was Robert Fleischman, best known for a brief stint in Journey prior to Steve Perry's joining the band.
- Though Slaughter is often categorized as "'80s hair metal", their first studio album, Stick It To Ya, wasn't released until 1990.
- Now lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee. Still tours in the summer, most recently with Whitesnake, Warrant and Kip Winger. (October 2003)
